A Few Things to Know Before You Donate

- If you have more, please call us first to make arrangements with a staff member who will inspect the books and help you bring them in.
Only One Bag or Box
- Some mold is white and sticks to a cover.
- Others (like the picture) attach to paper.
- Both are damaging to other books.

Book Sale Volunteers
The Baldwinsville Public Library hosts four used book sales throughout the year, in February, May, August, and November. Volunteers are needed both to sort items throughout the year and to help during the sale with setup, breakdown, and sale activities. If you are interested, email us info@bville.lib.ny.us. Exact book sale schedules are available on the Library’s program calendar.
Volunteer with the Friends
The Friends of Baldwinsville Public Library meet regularly to organize activities to further their goals: increasing community engagement with the Library, highlighting Library offerings and resources, and allowing library lovers to serve the Library’s mission.
For information about volunteering with the Friends, visit: https://www.friendsofbpl.com/

However, it functions as a governmental unit and therefore received some benefits like a non-profit, including not having to pay sales tax.
